The NIBCO 39923326515 is a globe-style silent check valve in the F-910-B-LF series, designed for commercial and industrial water systems. The valve uses a spring actuator to close quietly before flow reversal occurs, eliminating the water hammer associated with swing-type check valves. The cast iron body is rated for 200 psi cold working pressure at up to 200 degrees F, with bronze alloy and stainless steel trim components. At 4 inches nominal with a flanged end connection, this valve is sized for main distribution lines and mechanical room piping. Low lead compliance meets NSF/ANSI 372 requirements, making it suitable for potable water service.
This valve is built for commercial and industrial water applications where silent operation and backflow prevention are required on larger-diameter piping. The flanged end style allows for straightforward in-line installation between mating flanges and simplifies future removal for inspection or maintenance. The spring-assisted closing mechanism acts before flow velocity drops to zero, which protects pumps and downstream equipment in hydronic, domestic water, and process piping systems. Domestic manufacture is noted on this unit.
Designed for commercial and industrial water piping systems requiring a 4-inch flanged silent check valve at 200 psi service pressure. Suitable for potable water, hydronic, and general water distribution applications where NSF/ANSI 372 low lead compliance is required.
Installation of flanged check valves in commercial water systems should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code. Shut off and isolate the line, relieve system pressure, and drain the section before removing or installing the valve. Confirm flange bolt pattern and gasket rating match the mating flanges before assembly. Verify flow-direction arrow on the valve body is oriented correctly with system flow before final torque of flange bolts.
