It is made from injection molded Corzan CPVC Schedule 80, which is suitable for chemical processing, industrial plating, chilled water distribution, deionized water lines, chemical drainage, and waste water treatment systems. This socket union features female socket connections and includes an EPDM ethylene propylene seal known for its abrasion and tear resistance along with excellent chemical resistance, although it is not suitable for petroleum oils or strong acids.
