The NDL INDUSTRIES W4092 is a copper reducing tee designed for sweat-joint copper piping systems. It accepts three different tube sizes — 1-5/8 inches, 1-3/8 inches, and 1-1/8 inches — in a CxCxC (solder cup) connection configuration. This fitting is used to branch a copper line while stepping down the pipe size at one or more outlets. Licensed plumbers and HVAC technicians install this type of fitting during new construction, retrofit work, and system modifications where flow distribution across different line sizes is required.
This reducing tee is suited for residential and light commercial copper piping applications including domestic water distribution, hydronic heating loops, and refrigerant line sets where sweat fittings are specified. The CxCxC end type means all three connections are made by soldering, making it compatible with standard copper tubing practices. When a branch takeoff is needed at a size transition, this fitting handles the transition in a single component rather than requiring multiple fittings.
Designed as an OEM-style sweat-connection fitting for copper tube systems requiring a reducing tee at the specified port sizes.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified HVAC technician in accordance with applicable plumbing codes such as the IPC or local amendments. Shut off and depressurize the water or refrigerant system and ensure all pipe sections are dry before soldering. Clean and flux all mating surfaces prior to applying heat, and use the appropriate solder type for the fluid service. Do not apply heat to a pressurized line.
