The NDL INDUSTRIES W40350 is a wrot copper reducing tee designed for sweat solder connections in pressure piping systems. Part of the Series 111-R line, this fitting joins two 3/8-inch run ports to a 1/8-inch branch port using standard C x C x C end style. Outer dimensions measure 1/2 x 1/2 x 1/4 inches OD. The fitting carries a temperature rating of -20 to 100 degrees F, making it suitable for a wide range of cold and hot water pressure applications. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this type of fitting during new construction or repair work on copper distribution systems.
This reducing tee is intended for pressure applications in residential and light commercial plumbing systems. The 3/8 x 3/8 x 1/8-inch nominal configuration is commonly used where a smaller branch line taps off a main 3/8-inch copper run. Typical installations include domestic water supply lines, hydronic branch circuits, and similar low-pressure copper tubing systems. The domestic manufacturing origin meets many project specification requirements for U.S.-made components.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for 3/8 x 3/8 x 1/8-inch nominal copper sweat pressure piping systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and IPC standards. Shut off and depressurize the supply line fully before cutting or soldering. Clean all tube ends and fitting sockets with abrasive cloth and apply flux before heating; overheat can damage the fitting seat. Allow the joint to cool completely before restoring system pressure.
