The NDL INDUSTRIES W4033 is a copper reducing tee designed for sweat-solder connections in refrigeration, HVAC, and plumbing piping systems. It provides a three-way branch connection with two run ends sized at 7/8 inches and a reduced branch outlet at 5/8 inches, all joined using standard C x C x C (copper sweat) connections. This fitting is installed by licensed HVAC technicians and plumbers wherever a branch line must step down in diameter within a copper tubing circuit. Sold in box quantities of 25, it is well suited for contractors stocking inventory for service work or new construction installations.
The W4033 reducing tee is used in residential and light commercial applications including refrigerant distribution lines, hydronic heating piping, domestic water supply, and general copper tubing assemblies. The reducing branch outlet allows a main run of 7/8-inch copper tubing to feed a 5/8-inch branch line without requiring a separate reducer fitting, simplifying the joint count at the connection point.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for copper tubing systems using standard C x C x C sweat connections in HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or HVAC technician following applicable local plumbing and mechanical codes. Shut off and recover or isolate the system fluid before cutting into any existing line. Clean and deburr all tube ends, apply flux evenly, and solder joints to full depth using appropriate solder or brazing alloy per the system refrigerant or fluid service requirements. Inspect all joints for full solder fill before restoring system pressure.
