The NDL INDUSTRIES W4000 is a 3/8-inch copper standard tee fitting designed for joining copper tubing in plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration systems. With a C x C x C (copper solder) connection on all three ports, it creates a branch takeoff from a main run using standard sweat-solder technique. This fitting is a core component in residential and light commercial systems wherever a 3/8-inch copper line requires a branch connection. Licensed plumbers and HVAC technicians install this type of fitting as part of rough-in and service work across a wide range of wet and refrigerant piping applications.
The W4000 is suited for use in residential plumbing supply lines, HVAC refrigerant piping, and hydronic systems that use 3/8-inch copper tubing. Its all-socket solder connection makes it compatible with standard Type K, L, or M copper tube of the matching diameter. Fittings of this type are commonly installed during new construction, remodeling, or system repairs where a branch line must be taken from an existing run.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-stock fitting for 3/8-inch copper sweat piping systems in plumbing and HVAC applications.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or HVAC technician using standard sweat-soldering tools including a torch, flux, and lead-free solder per applicable codes. Shut off and depressurize the system and drain standing water from the line before cutting and fitting. All joints must be clean, deburred, and properly fluxed before soldering. Follow local plumbing codes and ASTM standards for solder alloy selection and joint preparation.
