The NDL INDUSTRIES W3321 is a 45-degree copper street elbow designed for soldered copper piping systems in plumbing and HVAC applications. With a fitting-to-copper (FTG x C) connection type and a 1/2-inch size, this elbow allows directional changes in copper lines without requiring an additional coupling. The male FTG end slips directly into a standard copper fitting socket, making it a compact and efficient solution for tight routing situations. Licensed plumbers and HVAC technicians use this fitting when laying out supply lines, drain lines, or refrigerant-adjacent copper runs that require a moderate 45-degree offset.
The W3321 is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing installations, including domestic water supply lines, hydronic heating circuits, and general copper tubing runs where a 45-degree change of direction is needed. The 1/2-inch size is among the most common in residential water distribution, making this fitting a standard item for service trucks and new construction rough-in work alike. It is sold in a box quantity of 100, making it practical for contractors stocking field inventory.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard trade fitting for 1/2-inch copper piping systems using soldered FTG x C connections, consistent with ASTM B16.22 wrought copper fitting standards.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and the IPC. Shut off and drain the water supply before cutting into any existing copper line. Clean and flux all mating surfaces before soldering, and use a lead-free solder approved for potable water applications where required by code. Allow joints to cool fully before restoring pressure to the system.
