The NDL INDUSTRIES W3034 is a 45-degree copper elbow designed for sweat-connect copper tubing systems. Configured with a C x C (copper-by-copper) connection type and sized at 7/8 inches on both ends, this fitting redirects copper lines at a 45-degree angle in residential and commercial plumbing, HVAC refrigerant piping, and hydronic heating systems. It is installed by licensed plumbers and HVAC technicians using standard soldering techniques.
This elbow is suited for applications where a gradual directional change is required in a copper tubing run. The 45-degree angle reduces turbulence and pressure drop compared to a 90-degree fitting, making it a common choice for water distribution lines, refrigerant suction and liquid lines, and radiant heating loops. It ships in a box quantity of 25 units.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and new-installation fitting for 7/8-inch copper tubing systems using sweat (solder) connections in plumbing and HVAC applications.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or HVAC technician. Shut off and depressurize the line before cutting or joining any copper tubing. Clean and flux all mating surfaces before soldering in accordance with applicable codes such as the IPC or IFGC. Do not overheat the fitting during soldering, as excessive heat can compromise the joint integrity.
