The NDL INDUSTRIES W2722 is a 90-degree long-radius copper elbow with a C x C (copper-to-copper sweat) connection, sized at 5/8 inches. It is used to change the direction of a copper tubing run in plumbing, HVAC refrigerant piping, and hydronic systems. The long-radius geometry reduces flow restriction and minimizes pressure drop compared to standard short-radius elbows, making it the preferred choice where flow efficiency matters. Plumbers and HVAC technicians install this fitting using standard solder or braze procedures. The 5/8-inch size is common in residential and light commercial refrigerant suction and liquid lines as well as domestic water distribution.
This elbow is suited for use in residential and light commercial plumbing systems, HVAC refrigerant circuits, and hydronic heating and cooling piping. The C x C connection type is compatible with standard copper tubing joined by soldering or brazing. It ships in a box quantity of 50 units, making it practical for contractors stocking materials for new construction, retrofit projects, or service calls where multiple fittings are needed at once.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-stock fitting for 5/8-inch copper tubing systems joined by sweat (solder or braze) connections in plumbing, HVAC, and hydronic applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or HVAC technician in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and ASHRAE guidelines. Shut off and depressurize the system and drain standing water from the line before cutting or sweating fittings. Clean tubing ends and fitting sockets thoroughly with emery cloth and apply flux before soldering or brazing. On refrigerant systems, follow EPA Section 608 requirements for refrigerant handling and use nitrogen purge during brazing to prevent internal oxidation.
