The NDL INDUSTRIES W2384 is a 90-degree short radius copper street elbow with a fitting-to-copper (FTG x C) connection configuration in a 1-3/8 inches size. This fitting is designed to redirect copper tubing runs at a right angle within tight spaces where a long-radius sweep is not practical. The short radius construction keeps the fitting compact, reducing the overall footprint of the assembly. It is installed by licensed plumbers and HVAC technicians working on hydronic, refrigeration, or potable water piping systems. The FTG x C end configuration allows one end to insert directly into a standard copper fitting socket while the other end accepts standard copper tube.
This elbow suits residential and light commercial plumbing and HVAC applications where 1-3/8 inches copper tubing changes direction. Typical install scenarios include tight mechanical rooms, equipment connections, and branch line routing where space constraints prevent the use of a standard long-radius elbow. The FTG x C connection style is commonly used when chaining fittings in close succession without adding additional straight tubing between them.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-use fitting for copper piping systems using 1-3/8 inches nominal tubing with FTG x C end connections.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or HVAC technician in accordance with applicable IPC or IFGC requirements. Shut off and depressurize the piping system and allow all lines to cool before beginning work. Clean and flux all mating surfaces before soldering; follow standard sweat-solder procedures appropriate for the service fluid. Do not apply excessive heat to the fitting, as overheating copper street elbows can compromise joint integrity.
