The NDL INDUSTRIES W2363 is a 90-degree long-radius copper street elbow sized at 2-5/8 inches with a FTG x C (fitting-to-copper) connection. This fitting is used to change flow direction in copper piping systems, with the long-radius sweep reducing turbulence and pressure drop compared to short-radius elbows. The street configuration — with one male fitting end and one female socket end — allows direct connection to another fitting without requiring an additional coupling. Plumbers and HVAC technicians install this fitting in refrigeration, HVAC, and plumbing applications where a 90-degree directional change is needed and space allows for the longer sweep.
This elbow is suited for refrigeration line sets, ACR piping, and commercial or residential plumbing systems using 2-5/8-inch copper tubing. The FTG x C ends accommodate standard sweat (solder) connections, making it compatible with typical copper piping workflows. The long-radius geometry is preferred in systems where minimizing flow restriction is a priority, such as refrigerant distribution or high-flow domestic water lines.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for 2-5/8-inch copper piping systems using sweat connections, including ACR refrigeration line sets and large-diameter plumbing applications.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers or HVAC technicians using standard sweat-soldering tools including a torch, flux, and appropriate lead-free solder per local plumbing codes. Shut off and depressurize the system and purge any refrigerant per EPA Section 608 requirements before cutting into refrigerant lines. Clean and flux both the fitting and tube ends thoroughly before applying heat to ensure a full, leak-free solder joint. Follow all applicable IPC or IFGC code requirements for the specific installation environment.
