The NDL INDUSTRIES W2326 is a 90-degree short radius copper street elbow designed for tight-turn directional changes in copper piping systems. It features a FTG (fitting) end on one side and a C (cup) end on the other, allowing it to connect directly to standard copper tube without an additional coupling. The short radius design keeps transitions compact, making it a practical choice where space is limited. This fitting is sized at 5/8 inches and is suited for plumbing, HVAC refrigerant line work, and hydronic piping installations. Licensed plumbers and HVAC technicians are the primary installers of this type of fitting.
This elbow is used in residential and light commercial applications where copper piping requires a 90-degree direction change in a confined space. The FTG x C configuration is commonly used when sweat-soldering directly into an existing fitting socket or when building up an assembly with other copper fittings. It is sold in a box quantity of 50 units, making it a practical stock item for service vans and plumbing supply inventories.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and new-installation fitting for copper piping systems using 5/8 inches FTG x C connections in plumbing and HVAC applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or HVAC technician in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and IFGC or IPC standards where relevant. Shut off and depressurize the water or refrigerant line before cutting or modifying any piping. Clean and flux both the FTG and C ends before applying heat with a propane or MAP torch for sweat-soldering. Allow the joint to cool fully before restoring system pressure and checking for leaks.
