The NDL INDUSTRIES W2093 is a 90-degree long-radius copper elbow designed to redirect refrigerant or fluid flow in copper piping systems. Configured with a C x C (copper sweat) connection on both ends and sized at 3-5/8 inches, this fitting is built for applications where a gradual directional change is required to minimize turbulence and pressure drop. The long-radius geometry reduces flow restriction compared to short-radius elbows, making it well suited for larger-diameter piping runs. Licensed HVAC technicians and plumbers install this type of fitting using standard soldering and brazing procedures in accordance with applicable mechanical codes.
This elbow is used in commercial and industrial copper piping installations where 3-5/8-inch pipe is present. Common applications include refrigerant suction and discharge lines, chilled water systems, and large-diameter plumbing runs. The C x C connection style requires both mating pipe ends to be clean, deburred, and properly fluxed prior to soldering or brazing. It is sold individually, with a box quantity of one per unit.
Designed as an OEM-style copper fitting for use with 3-5/8-inch copper pipe in commercial refrigeration, HVAC, and large-diameter plumbing systems requiring a 90-degree directional change with a C x C sweat connection.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician or plumber in accordance with applicable local mechanical codes, the International Mechanical Code, or the International Plumbing Code. Shut down and isolate the system, relieve all pressure, and allow pipe surfaces to cool completely before beginning work. Clean and deburr both pipe ends, apply appropriate flux, and braze or solder the joint using techniques and filler materials suited to the system fluid and operating pressure. Do not apply flame directly to the fitting socket for extended periods, as overheating can damage the fitting or adjacent components.
