The NDL INDUSTRIES W2088 is a 90-degree short-radius copper elbow designed for directional changes in copper piping systems. With a 3-1/8 inch connection size and a copper-by-copper (C x C) sweat connection on both ends, this fitting integrates directly into hard-drawn or annealed copper tube lines. The short-radius geometry keeps the turn compact, making it useful where space constraints limit the use of standard long-radius elbows. Plumbers and HVAC technicians install this fitting using standard soldering or brazing procedures. It is sold in a box quantity of two.
This elbow is suited for residential and commercial plumbing, hydronic heating, refrigeration piping, and HVAC applications where a 90-degree change of direction is required in a copper tube run. The C x C sweat ends accept standard copper tubing and are joined using lead-free solder or brazing alloy per local code requirements. The short-radius body is appropriate for tight mechanical rooms, equipment pads, and confined riser spaces where a long-radius elbow would not fit.
Designed for use with standard copper tubing in 3-1/8 inch nominal size. Suitable for plumbing, HVAC, hydronic, and refrigeration piping systems that use C x C sweat fittings.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers or HVAC technicians using standard copper sweat or braze procedures. Shut off and drain the system completely before cutting into an existing line. Clean tube ends and fitting sockets with emery cloth and apply flux before soldering or brazing. Follow local plumbing codes and IFGC or IPC requirements for pipe support, joint method, and approved materials.
