The NDL INDUSTRIES W2063 is a 90-degree long-radius copper elbow designed for sweat-joint copper tubing systems. The long-radius bend reduces turbulence and pressure drop compared to short-radius fittings, making it well suited for refrigerant and fluid lines where flow efficiency matters. The fitting uses a C X C (copper-by-copper) solder connection on both ends and is sized for 1-5/8-inch tubing, a dimension common in commercial refrigeration and HVAC refrigerant piping. HVAC technicians, plumbers, and refrigeration mechanics install this type of fitting when routing copper lines around obstructions or changing direction in a piping run.
The W2063 is used in refrigerant suction and liquid line applications, hydronic piping, and general copper plumbing systems where a directional change is required. The 1-5/8-inch connection size is standard in commercial HVAC and refrigeration circuits. It is sold in a box quantity of 5, making it practical for service contractors and installers who regularly stock copper fittings for job-site use.
Designed as an OEM-style copper sweat fitting for use in 1-5/8-inch C X C copper piping systems, including commercial refrigeration, HVAC refrigerant lines, and hydronic piping installations.
Installation is performed by a licensed HVAC technician, refrigeration mechanic, or journeyman plumber. Isolate and recover any refrigerant or drain the fluid system before cutting into the line. Clean and flux both the fitting socket and tubing end before soldering, and use the appropriate solder alloy for the application per applicable mechanical codes. Allow the joint to cool fully before pressurizing the system and perform a leak check before returning the system to service.
