The NDL INDUSTRIES W1376 is a copper reducing bushing designed to connect two different pipe sizes within a copper plumbing system. It features a FTG (fitting) end on the larger side and a C (sweat/solder) end on the smaller side, allowing a 3-3/8 inch fitting to transition down to a 2-5/8 inch copper pipe. This type of fitting is a standard component in residential and commercial plumbing rough-in work, typically installed by licensed plumbers during new construction or system modifications where pipe diameter changes are required.
This reducing bushing is suited for use in potable water supply lines, hydronic heating systems, and general plumbing distribution piping wherever a reduction from 3-3/8 inches to 2-5/8 inches is needed. The FTG X C connection style means the bushing inserts directly into a standard cup-end fitting on the larger side, while the smaller end accepts a standard copper pipe for soldering. It is sold in a box quantity of 6 units.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-use copper reducing bushing for plumbing systems requiring a FTG X C transition from 3-3/8 inches to 2-5/8 inches copper pipe.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber following applicable IPC or local plumbing code requirements. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the line before beginning any soldering work. Use appropriate flux and solder rated for potable water systems when making sweat connections. Allow all joints to cool fully before restoring water pressure and inspecting for leaks.
