The NDL INDUSTRIES W1360 is a copper reducing bushing designed to connect two different pipe sizes within a copper plumbing or HVAC refrigerant piping system. It features a fitting-to-copper (FTG x C) connection type, allowing the male fitting end to insert directly into a standard copper fitting socket while the female end accepts a copper pipe. Sized at 2-1/8 inches by 1-1/8 inches, it is used wherever a larger-diameter run must transition down to a smaller pipe without additional fittings. Licensed plumbers and HVAC refrigeration technicians are the typical installers.
This reducing bushing is suited for residential and commercial copper piping applications where a pipe size reduction is required in-line. The FTG x C configuration makes it compatible with standard sweat-solder assembly methods. It is sold in box quantities of 15, making it practical for contractors stocking common reduction sizes on the truck or in the shop.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation bushing for copper sweat-solder piping systems using standard FTG x C connections.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or HVAC refrigeration technician familiar with sweat-solder copper fitting procedures. Shut off the water supply or refrigerant system and relieve all pressure before beginning work. Use appropriate flux and lead-free solder in compliance with applicable plumbing codes such as the IPC. Allow the joint to cool completely before restoring system pressure.
