The NDL INDUSTRIES W1130 is a copper male adapter designed to transition a sweat (C) connection to a male pipe thread (MPT) connection. The fitting measures 5/8 inches on the copper sweat end and 3/4 inches on the male pipe thread end. It is used in potable water, hydronic, and general plumbing systems wherever a copper tubing run must terminate into a threaded fitting or valve. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this adapter as part of rough-in and service work on residential and light commercial piping systems.
The W1130 is suited for applications requiring a reliable sweat-to-thread transition, including connecting copper supply lines to threaded valves, manifolds, or fixture stops. The C x MPT configuration makes it a common choice when stubbing out copper lines to accept a threaded ball valve, boiler fitting, or similar component. It is sold in a box quantity of 25, making it practical for contractors stocking a service van or staging a multi-unit project.
Designed as an OEM-style plumbing fitting for use in residential and light commercial copper piping systems requiring a 5/8 inch sweat to 3/4 inch male pipe thread transition.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable IPC or local plumbing code requirements. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the line before soldering. Clean and flux both the copper tube and the fitting socket before applying heat. Do not apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the sweat end — thread sealant is applied to the male pipe threads when mating to a female-threaded fitting.
