The NDL INDUSTRIES W1125 is a copper male adapter fitting designed to transition between a copper sweat connection and a male pipe thread. The fitting accepts a 1/2-inch copper tube on the sweat (C) end and steps down to a 3/8-inch male pipe thread (MPT) on the threaded end. This type of adapter is a standard component in residential and light commercial plumbing and hydronic systems, used wherever a copper line must terminate into a threaded port on a valve, fixture, or appliance. Installation is performed by licensed plumbers and experienced pipe fitters.
The W1125 is suited for potable water supply lines, hydronic heating loops, and general plumbing rough-in work. The C x MPT configuration allows the installer to solder the fitting onto copper tubing and then thread directly into a female-threaded valve, fixture, or equipment port. It is packaged in a box quantity of 50 units, making it practical for contractors stocking service vehicles or supply rooms with commonly used transition fittings.
Designed as an OEM-style copper sweat-to-male-thread adapter for use in standard residential and light commercial plumbing systems requiring a 1/2-inch C x 3/8-inch MPT transition.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off the water supply and depressurize the line before soldering. Clean and flux all copper surfaces prior to sweating the fitting, and allow the joint to cool fully before applying thread sealant or PTFE tape to the MPT end before threading into the receiving port.
