Product Description

The NDL INDUSTRIES NCHSF-165S is a suction line filter drier designed for refrigeration and air conditioning systems using R410A and other compatible refrigerants. It uses an XH-11 desiccant in a 70/30 combination of desiccant and activated alumina to effectively remove moisture and contaminants from the suction line. The 0.080 gram moisture capacity desiccant core is housed in a furnace-brazed shell assembled in an oxygen-free environment, which prevents rust and adds structural strength at the fitting ends. Licensed HVAC technicians install this component during system servicing or after compressor replacement to protect equipment from acid and moisture damage.

The NCHSF-165S is suited for residential and light commercial refrigerant systems, particularly those running R410A. Its 5/8 inch sweat connection fits standard copper suction line tubing. The three basket-shaped honeycomb perforated plates inside the drier are engineered to minimize pressure drop across the system, keeping the refrigerant circuit efficient during operation. It is packaged under positive pressure between 30 and 40 PSIG to maintain internal cleanliness prior to installation.

Compatibility

Installation Notes
