The NDL INDUSTRIES n-3012 is a 45-degree copper elbow fitting designed for copper-to-copper connections in plumbing and HVAC refrigerant or fluid-line applications. Built entirely from copper, this fitting changes line direction by 45 degrees without reducing flow path diameter. Both connection ends accept 1/4-inch copper tubing, and the outside diameter measures 3/8 inch. It is sized and configured for use by licensed plumbers and HVAC technicians working on small-diameter copper tubing runs.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial applications where a 45-degree directional change is needed in a 1/4-inch copper line. Typical install scenarios include refrigerant suction or liquid lines, condensate drain lines, and potable or process water distribution tubing. Both sweat-solder and press-fit copper joining methods are common with fittings of this type, depending on jobsite tooling and code requirements.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting compatible with standard 1/4-inch copper tubing systems in plumbing and HVAC applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or HVAC technician in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and ASHRAE or IFGC guidelines. Shut off and isolate the refrigerant or water supply and relieve system pressure before cutting into any existing line. Clean and deburr tubing ends before joining to ensure a leak-free sweat or press connection. Do not over-heat the fitting during soldering, as excessive heat can compromise copper integrity.
