The NDL INDUSTRIES g400-4142-24 is a flexible stainless steel gas connector designed to create a safe, leak-resistant connection between a gas supply line and an appliance. Built from 304 stainless steel corrugated tubing, it measures 24 inches in length with a 3/4-inch inside diameter and a 1-inch outside diameter. The connector carries a pressure rating of 0.5 psi and a BTU rating of 1,000 BTU/h, making it appropriate for residential gas appliances. A yellow epoxy coating over the exterior and zinc-plated steel fittings add corrosion resistance and protection against chemical exposure from common household and plumbing products. Licensed plumbers and gas fitters typically install this connector during appliance hookups or gas line service calls.
This connector is suited for residential gas appliance installations including ranges, dryers, water heaters, and similar equipment where a flexible corrugated line is required between a rigid gas supply and an appliance inlet. The MNPT x FNPT end configuration accommodates standard threaded gas line fittings. It is rated for operating temperatures from -40 to 150 degrees F, covering the full range of typical indoor residential environments.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation flexible gas connector for residential gas appliances requiring a 3/4-inch fitting size and MNPT x FNPT threaded connections.
Installation must be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified gas fitter in accordance with local codes and the International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC). Shut off the gas supply at the meter or main valve before disconnecting or connecting any gas line components. Apply an approved pipe thread sealant or gas-rated tape to threaded connections and verify all joints for leaks using an approved leak detection solution before restoring gas service. Do not over-bend or kink the flexible connector during installation.
