The ND INDUSTRIES 73250 Vibra-Tite Liquid Gasket is a flexible flange sealant formulated to seal mating surfaces while tolerating minor movement caused by vibration. Applied directly from the tube, this anaerobic-style liquid gasket cures in place between flanges, covers, and housings to create a durable, leak-resistant seal. The compound has a service temperature range of -65 to 300 degrees F, making it suitable for both cold-environment and moderate-heat applications. Cure time is 6 to 48 hours on unprimed surfaces and 1 to 6 hours on primed surfaces. A fluorescent blue color aids visual inspection during assembly to confirm full coverage and proper application.
This liquid gasket is used in HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical applications where a formed-in-place gasket is preferred over a cut gasket. It is well-suited for sealing oil pans, gear covers, pump housings, and other flanged joints subject to vibration. The flexible cure resists cracking on surfaces that flex slightly during operation, making it appropriate for both residential and light commercial equipment service. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and mechanical contractors typically use this product during equipment assembly, repair, or preventive maintenance.
Designed as a flexible, formed-in-place gasket maker for flanged metal surfaces in HVAC, plumbing, and general mechanical assemblies where vibration resistance and temperature stability are required.
Clean and degrease mating surfaces thoroughly before application to ensure proper adhesion and cure. Apply a continuous bead to one surface, assemble the joint, and allow full cure time before returning the assembly to service. Priming surfaces will significantly reduce cure time. Follow applicable mechanical and safety codes for the system being serviced, and wear appropriate PPE when handling chemical sealants.
