The ND INDUSTRIES 73025 Vibra-Tite Flexible Liquid Gasket is a flange sealant formulated to seal and secure gasketed joints exposed to vibration and minor movement. It dispenses in a red color and cures to a flexible film that maintains a reliable seal even as mating surfaces shift slightly under service conditions. The sealant operates across a wide temperature range of -65 to 300 degrees F, making it suitable for demanding mechanical and fluid-system environments. It is used by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and mechanical contractors wherever a formed-in-place gasket is preferred over a cut gasket or hard sealant compound. Each bottle contains 250 ml of sealant.
This liquid gasket sealant is intended for flange and housing joints in plumbing, HVAC, and general mechanical systems where vibration-induced micromovement could cause a rigid sealant to crack or lose adhesion. It is appropriate for both residential and light commercial applications. Typical installation scenarios include sealing pump housings, pipe flanges, thermostat housings, and similar metal-to-metal joints. The fluorescent blue color aids visual inspection during assembly to confirm complete coverage before joint closure.
Designed as an OEM-style formed-in-place gasket sealant for metal flange joints in mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC system assemblies.
Application should be performed by a qualified mechanical, plumbing, or HVAC technician following the system manufacturer's flange preparation requirements. Shut down and depressurize the system before disassembling any joint. Clean mating surfaces thoroughly to remove oil, old sealant, and debris before applying the sealant bead. Allow full cure time to elapse before returning the assembly to pressurized service; use of a primer will shorten required cure time as noted above.
