The ND INDUSTRIES 56750 is an anaerobic retaining compound formulated for high-temperature, high-strength applications on non-threaded, cylindrical metal assemblies. Once applied, it fills the voids between close-fitting metal parts and cures to form a solid, one-piece assembly. The compound seals joints against fluid leakage and protects mating surfaces from corrosion. It is supplied in a 50 ml container and is suited for use by HVAC technicians, millwrights, and mechanical contractors working on motors, bearings, bushings, and similar press-fit or slip-fit components.
This retaining compound is intended for cylindrical metal assemblies where increased shear strength and a leak-free joint are required. Typical applications include securing bearings into housings, locking bushings onto shafts, and retaining sleeves or couplings in industrial and commercial HVAC equipment. It is applicable in environments where elevated operating temperatures demand a higher-strength anaerobic formulation.
Designed as an OEM-style retaining compound for non-threaded, cylindrical metal assemblies requiring high-temperature and high-strength anaerobic bonding.
Application is typically performed by licensed HVAC technicians, millwrights, or mechanical contractors. Before applying, ensure all mating surfaces are clean, dry, and free of oil, grease, and debris for proper anaerobic cure. Apply the compound to one or both surfaces as needed and assemble the components promptly. Allow adequate cure time before returning the assembly to service, and follow the manufacturer's technical data sheet for surface preparation and handling guidance.
