The ND INDUSTRIES 14010 is a permanent, high-strength anaerobic thread sealant designed to lock and seal threaded fasteners against loosening caused by shock and vibration. Applied directly to fastener threads before assembly, the cured adhesive fills the gaps between mating metal surfaces, creating a seal that outperforms mechanical locking devices such as lock washers and bevel washers. Each single-use package contains 10 ml of sealant. This product is suited for maintenance technicians, millwrights, and trade professionals working with threaded connections in demanding mechanical environments.
The 14010 thread sealant is appropriate for use on metal threaded fasteners in industrial, commercial, and trade-service applications. Typical uses include securing bolts, screws, and fittings subject to continuous vibration, as well as sealing fluid-carrying threaded connections where leakage prevention is required. It also prevents rust-lock, which can make future disassembly extremely difficult without heat or specialized tools. Because the cure is permanent and high-strength, this product is intended for fasteners that will not require routine removal.
Designed as an OEM-style anaerobic thread sealant for use on metal threaded fasteners in mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and industrial service applications.
Clean and degrease all mating thread surfaces before applying sealant to ensure proper adhesion and cure. Apply sealant to the male threads and assemble the fastener immediately; anaerobic adhesives cure in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces. Because this is a permanent, high-strength formulation, disassembly after cure requires heat and significant torque — confirm the fastener location does not require routine service access before use. Follow applicable safety data sheet guidelines for handling and ventilation.
