The NATIONAL MFG/SPECTRUM BRANDS HHI N248-344 is a 3/4 inch zinc wire cable clamp designed for forming a secure eye or loop on wire rope. The base of each saddle is grooved to conform to the wire rope profile, increasing contact area and grip strength at the connection point. This type of clamp is a standard hardware component used in rigging, anchoring, and cable-tensioning applications across construction, marine, and industrial trade work. Each package contains 5 clamps, sold as a boxed loose set.
This clamp is suited for use wherever a wire rope termination is required, including guy wire anchoring, structural tie-backs, lifting slings, and fence tensioning. The 3/4 inch size fits 3/4 inch wire rope. Tradespeople and riggers working on commercial and residential jobsites will find this a standard fit for common wire rope termination tasks. The grooved saddle design is consistent with industry-standard U-bolt clamp construction for reliable field-formed loops.
Designed for use with 3/4 inch wire rope in standard eye or loop termination applications.
Wire cable clamps of this type are installed by trade riggers and general contractors following applicable ASME and OSHA rigging guidelines. Always ensure the U-bolt seats on the dead end of the rope and the saddle sits on the live load-bearing end. Never use fewer clamps than specified by the wire rope manufacturer for the intended load. Inspect all hardware before use and replace any clamp showing corrosion, deformation, or cracking.
