The NATIONAL MFG/SPECTRUM BRANDS HHI N221-655 is a stainless steel eye bolt designed for secure fastening and load-bearing applications in trade and commercial environments. Each bolt measures 3/8 inch in diameter and 5 inches in length and is supplied with a matching hex nut. The stainless steel construction provides corrosion resistance suited to wet, outdoor, or marine-adjacent conditions. This package includes 10 eye bolts. Each bolt is rated to hold up to 160 pounds, making it appropriate for light rigging, anchor point, and tie-down installations where a dependable, corrosion-resistant fastener is required.
This eye bolt is suited for use in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and general trade applications where a threaded, load-rated anchor point is needed. Common install scenarios include hanging pipe, conduit, or equipment supports from structural members, securing cables or straps, and providing fixed anchor points in mechanical rooms or utility spaces. The included hex nut allows for secure tightening against the mounting surface.
Designed as a standard 3/8-inch threaded eye bolt suitable for use with common structural lumber, steel, and masonry anchors where a 3/8-inch hole is specified.
Installation is typically performed by general tradespeople, maintenance technicians, or riggers. Drill the appropriate 3/8-inch pilot hole in the mounting surface before threading the bolt through. Tighten the hex nut firmly against the substrate using appropriate hand tools. Always verify that the mounting surface and surrounding structure are rated to support the intended load before use, and do not exceed the stated 160-pound load rating.
