It mounts on the inside of the fence post, fitting between the gate jamb to provide a secure, anti-sag closure. The self-latching mechanism engages automatically when the gate closes, eliminating the need to manually set the latch after each use. This latch accepts a padlock for added security. Licensed fence installers and general contractors are the primary installers, though experienced DIYers commonly handle this application as well.
