The NATIONAL MARKER N265355 is a bright brass-finish continuous hinge built for light-duty cabinetry and storage applications. Part of the V570 series, it measures 1-1/16 inches wide by 12 inches long and is constructed from steel at a .042 gauge thickness. The electrofilm-coated pin measures .090 inches in diameter and is engineered to resist rust while remaining captive in the barrel — it will not fall out when the hinge is cut to length. Screw holes are spaced 2 inches apart, and the hinge ships with Phillips flat No. 4 x 1/2-inch screws included. A licensed contractor or experienced tradesperson handles installation in typical commercial or residential cabinetry contexts.
This continuous hinge is suited for use on tool chests, storage cabinets, folding tables, and hobby project enclosures. Its full-length piano-style design distributes load evenly across the hinge line, making it a practical choice wherever a standard butt hinge would leave the door or panel unsupported along part of its span. The hinge can be cut to any desired length using a hacksaw or metal snips without compromising pin retention.
Designed as a direct-fit continuous hinge for tool chests, cabinets, folding tables, and hobby project enclosures requiring a full-length hinge solution.
Power down or secure any cabinet or enclosure before hinge replacement to prevent uncontrolled movement of doors or panels. Cut to length using a hacksaw or aviation snips; deburr cut ends before installation to avoid injury and ensure flush seating. Fasten with the included No. 4 Phillips flat-head screws, ensuring screws seat fully without stripping the substrate. Follow applicable local building or cabinetry standards for load-bearing installations.
