The NATIONAL MARKER N245134 is a forged steel galvanized eye bolt designed for rigging and lifting applications where a secure, tightened anchor point is required. This shoulder-style eye bolt features machine screw threads and comes assembled with a hex nut, allowing it to be drawn down firmly against a mounting surface. The 3/8-inch shank diameter and 4-1/2-inch length make it suitable for medium-duty fastening tasks. A bar code label is color coded to identify wire rope size, and the safe working load (SWL) is clearly marked on the label, keeping critical load information visible at the point of use.
This eye bolt is used in industrial, rigging, and general construction settings where a reliable anchor point is needed for wire rope or chain attachments. The shoulder design is important in applications where the load may not be perfectly in line with the bolt axis, as it allows the bolt to seat flush against the work surface. The pintle is punched to accept 3/8-inch cotter pins for added retention. Installers in general contracting, rigging, and maintenance trades will find this a standard catalog replacement fitting for the 3260BC series.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement fitting in the NATIONAL MARKER 3260BC series. Suitable for use with standard 3/8-inch wire rope rigging hardware and compatible hex nuts of matching thread pitch.
Eye bolts should be installed by qualified riggers or tradespeople familiar with ASME B30.26 and applicable rigging standards. Always ensure the mounting surface is capable of supporting the rated load before tightening. Tighten the hex nut fully so the shoulder seats flush against the work surface before applying any load. Never exceed the rated safe working load marked on the label.
