The NAPOLEON TLVX62LBN is a large-format direct vent gas fireplace engineered for high-end residential installations where design flexibility and heat output are both priorities. This unit delivers up to 42,000 BTU/h on natural gas and uses an electronic ignition system for reliable start-up. The 21-inch double-pane glass viewing area provides a wide, unobstructed sightline to the firebox. Standard Dynamic Heat Control (DHC) is built in, a fan-free heat management system that reduces wall surface temperatures and redirects heat away from the unit, allowing installations above or near sensitive materials. Licensed HVAC and hearth professionals are the primary installers for this appliance.
The TLVX62LBN is designed for large living spaces, great rooms, or open-plan commercial interiors where a linear fireplace serves as a primary architectural feature. It supports three installation configurations: three-sided panoramic, corner, and single-sided. The zero-clearance DHC technology makes it suitable for modern builds where wall-mounted displays or finish materials are placed directly above the firebox. The mandatory Luminous Log set is included and must be installed as part of the firebox media package. Optional heat management upgrades include DHC Plus for outdoor redirect, DHM for ducted applications, and LHAD for a hot air kit.
The TLVX62LBN is compatible with optional heat management accessories including DHC Plus (outdoor redirect), DHM (ducted heat kit), and LHAD (hot air kit). Direct vent venting components and a firestop and vent shield are included. This unit is configured for natural gas only.
Installation must be performed by a licensed hearth or HVAC professional in accordance with local building codes and the manufacturer's installation manual. Shut off the gas supply completely before servicing any components of the appliance. Direct vent installations require a sealed combustion air pathway and proper co-axial or co-linear vent termination to exterior. Do not substitute venting components or bypass the included firestop and vent shield assemblies.
