The MYERS mci033 is a 1/3 horsepower cast iron submersible sump pump designed for residential and light commercial sump applications operating on 115 volts. Rated at 9.8 amps with a maximum head of 32 feet, this pump delivers reliable performance in demanding wet pit environments. The oil-cooled motor provides continuous bearing lubrication and maximizes heat dissipation, while lubricated ball bearings and a carbon/ceramic shaft seal extend service life. A heat sensor overload with automatic reset protects the motor during thermal events. Licensed plumbers and mechanical contractors are the typical installers for this class of equipment.

The mci033 is suited for residential and light commercial sump pits with a minimum diameter of 10 inches, made possible by its 2-pole switch design. The shaded pole motor eliminates failure-prone switches and relays, reducing callback risk.
