The MUELLER STREAMLINE w 02728 is a 90-degree long-radius copper elbow designed for sweat-connect (C x C) copper tubing systems. It accepts 3/4-inch copper pipe on both ends and is used to change flow direction with reduced turbulence compared to a standard short-radius fitting. The long-radius geometry lowers pressure drop and is well suited for systems where flow efficiency matters. Plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting by cleaning and fluxing both the fitting cup and the pipe end, then soldering with an appropriate lead-free solder per applicable codes.

Installation Notes

Do not apply heat to a fitting that still contains standing water, as steam pressure can compromise the solder joint.
