The MUELLER STREAMLINE ELL00911 is a wrot copper street elbow designed for solder (sweat) connections in residential and commercial plumbing systems. This 45-degree elbow features a fitting-end (FTG) inlet and a copper-end (C) outlet, both sized at 2 inches, allowing it to slip directly into a standard copper fitting without a coupling. Wrot copper construction ensures high-pressure resistance, good thermal conductivity, and long service life in potable water, hydronic heating, and mechanical piping systems. Licensed plumbers use this fitting when routing copper pipe around obstructions or making directional changes at 45 degrees.
This elbow is used in 2-inch copper pipe systems where a street-pattern fitting is preferred to reduce overall joint count and save space. Street elbows are common in tight mechanical rooms, boiler rooms, and under-slab applications where back-to-back fittings would otherwise be required. The FTG x C configuration means the fitting-end inserts directly into another fitting socket, while the copper end accepts standard Type K, L, or M copper tube.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-use fitting for 2-inch wrot copper solder-joint piping systems using FTG x C street elbow connections.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with the International Plumbing Code (IPC) and applicable local codes. Shut off and depressurize the water supply and drain the line before cutting or sweating any fittings. Clean all mating surfaces with emery cloth and apply lead-free flux before soldering. Do not apply heat directly to a pressurized or wet line.
