The MUELLER STREAMLINE ELL00877 is a wrot copper 90-degree short-radius elbow designed for soldered copper piping systems. It connects two 1-1/4 inch copper tubes using a socket-solder (C x C) joint on both ends. Wrot copper construction provides high strength and excellent corrosion resistance, making it suitable for potable water, hydronic heating, and general plumbing applications. The short-radius design keeps direction changes compact within tight mechanical spaces. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters typically install this fitting during new construction or repair work on residential and light commercial copper piping systems.
This elbow is used wherever a 90-degree change of direction is required in a 1-1/4 inch copper line. It fits residential and light commercial plumbing, hydronic radiant heating loops, and HVAC condensate and water-supply piping. The C x C solder connection is the standard joint method for wrot copper fittings, requiring flux and a torch-applied solder to complete the joint per applicable plumbing codes.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-use fitting for 1-1/4 inch wrot copper solder-joint piping systems in residential and light commercial plumbing and HVAC applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with the International Plumbing Code (IPC) and applicable local codes. Shut off and drain the water supply completely before cutting into any existing line. Clean and flux all mating surfaces before applying heat and solder; overheating wrot copper fittings can damage the fitting and compromise joint integrity. Inspect the finished joint for full solder flow around the entire socket before restoring system pressure.
