The MUELLER STREAMLINE ELL00206 is a 90-degree wrot copper street elbow designed for close-rough plumbing applications. It uses a fitting-by-copper (FTG x C) connection configuration, allowing one end to insert directly into a copper fitting socket while the other accepts a copper tube. The short-radius, street-pattern design keeps the fitting compact, making it well suited for tight spaces where standard elbow clearance is not available. Actual dimensions are 3.86 inches in length, 3.81 inches in height, and 2.25 inches in width. The fitting weighs 0.77 pounds. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this type of fitting in residential and light commercial copper piping systems.
This elbow is used in residential and commercial potable water, hydronic heating, and general copper piping systems where a sharp directional change is required. The FTG x C end configuration makes it a direct street-pattern fitting, eliminating the need for an additional coupling when transitioning directions at a joint. Shut off the water supply and fully depressurize and drain the line before cutting or fitting. Clean and flux all mating surfaces before soldering, and use lead-free solder where required by code for potable water applications. Avoid overheating the fitting during the sweat process, as excessive heat can damage the copper and compromise the joint.
