The MUELLER STREAMLINE ELL00010 is a wrot copper 90-degree long radius elbow designed for sweat-soldered copper piping systems. It accepts 2-inch connections on both ends via female solder joints and follows a long radius bend geometry, which reduces turbulence and pressure drop through the fitting. At 1.23 pounds, this is a full-weight wrot copper fitting suited for potable water, hydronic heating, and mechanical piping applications. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this type of fitting as part of copper distribution and recirculation systems in both residential and commercial construction.
This elbow is used wherever a 90-degree directional change is needed in a 2-inch copper piping run. Long radius elbows are preferred in hydronic systems, chilled water loops, and domestic hot and cold water distribution lines where flow efficiency matters. The female solder connection type requires standard copper soldering technique with approved flux and lead-free solder per applicable plumbing codes. It is appropriate for both new installation and retrofit work in mechanical rooms, utility spaces, and in-wall or overhead piping runs.
Designed as an OEM-style wrot copper pressure fitting for use in 2-inch copper piping systems installed per ASME B16.22 standards for wrought copper and copper alloy solder-joint pressure fittings.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off and drain the water supply completely before cutting into any existing piping. Clean all pipe ends and fitting cups with emery cloth or a fitting brush, apply approved lead-free flux, and solder with lead-free solder where required by code. Do not apply heat directly to the fitting cup for extended periods, as overheating can damage the fitting or cause flux to burn off before the joint is complete.
