The MUELLER STREAMLINE CPL00912 is a wrot copper pressure coupling with a staked stop, designed for sweat-solder connections in residential and commercial plumbing and HVAC refrigerant piping systems. The staked stop positions the pipe at center to ensure even solder flow and consistent joint integrity. Sized at 1-1/4 inch copper by 1-1/4 inch copper (CxC), this coupling weighs 0.15 pounds and measures 2.13 inches in length. It meets ASME and NSF standards, making it suitable for potable water, hydronic, and mechanical piping applications. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters are the primary installers of this fitting.
This coupling is used in straight-run copper piping installations where two sections of 1-1/4 inch copper tube must be joined. Typical applications include domestic water distribution, hydronic heating supply and return lines, and commercial mechanical piping. The wrot copper construction provides excellent corrosion resistance and reliable performance across a range of operating pressures and temperatures. The CxC end configuration is compatible with standard sweat-solder installation practice using 95-5 or lead-free solder per applicable plumbing codes.
Designed as a standard CxC sweat-solder fitting for 1-1/4 inch copper tube in residential and commercial plumbing and mechanical piping systems.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers or pipefitters following applicable local plumbing codes and ASME standards. Before soldering, shut off and depressurize the water or fluid system and ensure the pipe ends and fitting cup are clean, dry, and properly fluxed. Use lead-free solder where required by code for potable water applications. Do not apply heat to a pressurized or water-filled line.
