The MUELLER STREAMLINE a15502-350 is a straight-through pressure relief valve designed to protect refrigerant and fluid systems from overpressure conditions. Set at 350 psi, it operates across a pressure range of 150 to 700 psi and a temperature range of -40 to 300 degrees F. The valve features a brass body for corrosion resistance and connects via NPTFE x flared end fittings in a 3/8 x 3/8 inch configuration. At 0.34 pounds and 2.81 inches wide, it is compact enough for tight installation spaces. Licensed HVAC technicians and refrigeration mechanics install this valve as a safety device in refrigerant piping systems.
This pressure relief valve is suited for residential and commercial refrigeration and HVAC applications where system pressure must be controlled and overpressure events safely vented. The NPTFE x flared connection style makes it compatible with standard copper tubing and threaded port fittings common in refrigerant line sets and pressure vessels. Its wide operating temperature range supports use in low-temperature refrigeration as well as higher-temperature system environments.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation pressure relief valve for refrigerant piping systems and pressure vessels requiring a 3/8 x 3/8 inch NPTFE x flared connection and a 350 psi relief setting.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC or refrigeration technician in accordance with applicable mechanical and refrigeration codes. Recover and relieve all system pressure before removing or installing any pressure relief valve. Ensure threads and flare connections are clean and free of debris before assembly. Do not over-tighten flared fittings, as this can damage sealing surfaces and compromise the connection.
