The MUELLER STREAMLINE a 07754nl is a lead-free brass baseboard reducing tee fitting designed for hot water baseboard heating systems. It uses a CxFxC end connection pattern — female soldered on the run ends and female threaded on the branch — allowing a direct inline tap into copper supply lines without additional adapters. Cast from brass and rated for temperatures from 350 to 550 degrees F, this fitting is built to handle the sustained heat loads typical of residential and light commercial hydronic heating loops. Licensed plumbers and HVAC installers rely on this configuration when tapping into baseboard fin-tube runs where a threaded branch port is required.
This tee fits residential and industrial plumbing and hydronic heating applications where a reducing branch connection is needed along a 1-inch copper main line. The 1/8-inch female threaded branch accommodates a smaller threaded fitting or instrument port on baseboard assemblies. It conforms to SDWA 1417 lead-free requirements, making it suitable for potable and hydronic systems subject to lead-content regulations. The cast brass construction provides consistent wall thickness and reliable solder joint performance in high-temperature service.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for residential and industrial hydronic baseboard heating systems requiring a 1-inch x 1/8-inch x 1-inch CxFxC reducing tee connection.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified HVAC technician in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and IFGC guidelines. Shut off and drain the hydronic system completely before cutting into the line. Clean and flux all copper tube ends before soldering; do not apply heat to the threaded branch port during the sweat process, as excess heat can distort the threads. Inspect the threaded branch connection with an appropriate thread sealant rated for high-temperature service before returning the system to pressure.
