The MUELLER STREAMLINE 9055200 is a 607-series copper elbow fitting designed to change flow direction in copper tubing systems. With a nominal size of 1/8 inch and a C x C (copper-to-copper sweat) end style, this elbow is soldered in place using standard torch and flux methods. It is used in plumbing, HVAC refrigerant piping, and mechanical systems where a directional change in a small-diameter copper line is required. Licensed plumbers and HVAC technicians are the primary installers. Domestically produced, this fitting meets the quality expectations common in trade-grade copper fittings.
This elbow fits 1/8 inch nominal copper tubing and is suited for both residential and light commercial applications. Typical use cases include tight-space directional changes in refrigerant lines, water supply branches, and small-bore mechanical piping. The C x C end configuration requires soldering on both ends, making it compatible with standard Type K, L, or M copper tubing of the matching nominal size.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-use fitting for 1/8 inch nominal copper tubing systems using sweat-soldered C x C connections.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or HVAC technician following applicable local plumbing codes and IFGC or IPC guidelines where relevant. Shut off and depressurize the line before cutting or removing any existing fittings. Clean and flux both the tubing ends and the fitting sockets before applying heat to ensure a proper solder joint. Avoid overheating the fitting, as excessive heat can damage nearby components or compromise the joint integrity.
