The MUELLER STREAMLINE 61420350 is a standard refrigerant line set designed for residential and light commercial HVAC installations. It includes a 3/8-inch liquid line and a 7/8-inch suction line, with the suction line wrapped in 1/2-inch black insulation to minimize heat gain and condensation. The set spans 35 feet, making it suitable for standard split-system runs. HVAC technicians use this line set to connect an outdoor condensing unit to an indoor evaporator coil, carrying refrigerant between the two components. The copper construction meets industry standards for refrigerant-grade tubing used in split-system air conditioning and heat pump applications.
This line set is intended for split-system HVAC installations where a pre-cut, pre-insulated suction line simplifies the rough-in process. The 35-foot length covers typical residential installations where the air handler or evaporator coil is located a moderate distance from the outdoor unit. The insulated suction line helps maintain system efficiency by reducing unwanted heat transfer along the low-pressure side of the refrigerant circuit. The liquid line diameter of 3/8 inches is compatible with common residential condensing unit connections.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation line set for residential split-system air conditioners and heat pumps requiring a 3/8-inch liquid line and 7/8-inch suction line connection.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician following applicable local codes and EPA Section 608 refrigerant handling regulations. Shut down and recover all refrigerant from the system before disconnecting existing line sets. Avoid kinking the copper tubing during routing, and support the lines at regular intervals per manufacturer and code requirements. Braze connections using nitrogen purge to prevent oxidation scale inside the copper tubing.
