The MUELLER STREAMLINE 6133 is a 6-inch PVC DWV street 45-degree elbow fitting designed for drain, waste, and vent piping systems. The spigot x hub end configuration allows one end to insert directly into a standard hub fitting, reducing the need for an additional coupling. Manufactured from PVC conforming to ASTM D2665, F1498, D331, and D1784, the fitting delivers strong chemical and corrosion resistance alongside the rigid dimensional integrity required for consistent, leak-free joints. Smooth interior walls minimize scaling and support unrestricted flow. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters handle installation in both residential and commercial DWV applications.
This fitting is suited for drain, waste, and vent piping in residential and commercial construction and renovation. The 45-degree angle accommodates moderate directional changes in horizontal drain runs and offset vent stacks. The street configuration is particularly useful in tight spaces where back-to-back fittings would otherwise be required. Industrial and sanitary piping applications that demand chemical and corrosion resistance are also appropriate service environments for this fitting. NSF 14 and UPC listing confirm compliance with widely adopted plumbing product standards.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for standard 6-inch PVC DWV piping systems conforming to ASTM D2665 and F1498 specifications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off water supply and ensure the drain system is depressurized and clear before cutting into existing lines. Clean and deburr pipe ends, apply PVC primer, and use an approved PVC solvent cement rated for DWV service. Support piping per code-required hanger spacing to prevent stress on cemented joints during cure.
