The MUELLER INDUSTRIES W 03034 is a wrot copper 45 degree elbow fitting designed for sweat-soldered copper piping systems. Sized at 3/4 inch with a cup-by-cup (C x C) end connection, this elbow redirects flow at a 45 degree angle in residential and commercial plumbing and hydronic heating lines. Wrot copper construction provides a dense, uniform grain structure that solders cleanly and holds pressure reliably over the service life of the system. Installation Notes

Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or qualified pipefitter using a torch, lead-free solder, and appropriate flux per local plumbing code and IFGC or IPC requirements where applicable. Shut off and drain the water supply completely before cutting into an existing line. Clean tube ends and fitting cups with emery cloth or a fitting brush, apply flux evenly, and heat the fitting body uniformly before feeding solder. Do not overheat wrot copper fittings, as excessive heat can oxidize the joint surface and result in a void or leak.
