This 20-foot length features a 1/2 inch outside diameter, a 3/8 inch inside diameter, and a wall thickness of 0.035 inches. Seamless construction eliminates the longitudinal weld seam found in welded tube, reducing the risk of failure under pressure cycling. At 0.198 pounds per foot, the coil weighs approximately 3.96 pounds and is sized for easy handling and routing through equipment cabinets, wall chases, and mechanical rooms. Licensed HVAC technicians, refrigeration mechanics, and plumbers are the primary installers of this product.
This tube is suited for residential and light commercial refrigerant line sets, hydronic distribution lines, and general plumbing rough-in where copper is the specified material. The 3/8 inch nominal size is commonly used for suction and liquid lines on smaller cooling systems, as well as domestic water supply branches.
