The MUELLER INDUSTRIES D 06050P is a seamless copper tube coil used in refrigeration, air conditioning, and related HVAC applications. Manufactured from C12200 phosphorus-deoxidized copper and conforming to ASTM B280, this tube measures 3/8 inch outside diameter with a 0.311 inch inside diameter and a 0.032 inch wall thickness. Each coil is 50 feet in length and weighs 6.7 pounds. The seamless construction eliminates longitudinal weld seams, which matters in systems where leak integrity under pressure cycling is critical. HVAC technicians and refrigeration mechanics are the primary installers of this product.
This tube is suited for residential and light commercial HVAC and refrigeration work where ACR-grade seamless copper is required. Common applications include connecting evaporator and condenser coils, field-fabricated refrigerant lines, and other tubing runs that require bending and flaring. The 50-foot coil length gives technicians enough material for most single-system line set segments without a field joint. The C12200 alloy is compatible with refrigerant oils and is the standard material grade for refrigerant-circuit copper tubing.

Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC or refrigeration technician familiar with applicable mechanical codes and EPA Section 608 refrigerant handling requirements. Evacuate and recover refrigerant from any existing system before cutting into a live circuit. Use proper ACR tube cutters and deburring tools to prepare cut ends before flaring or brazing. Do not use this tube for potable water or gas service without confirming applicable local code approval for the alloy and wall thickness.
