The MUELLER INDUSTRIES 15847 is a wrot copper 90-degree long radius elbow designed for sweat-connect copper piping systems. It accepts 1/4-inch nominal tubing on both ends using a copper-to-copper (C x C) end connection. The long radius geometry reduces flow turbulence and pressure drop compared to standard short radius fittings, making it a preferred choice in refrigeration lines, small-diameter domestic water supply, and HVAC condensate and refrigerant piping. Plumbers, pipefitters, and HVAC technicians install this fitting using standard soldering or brazing procedures in accordance with applicable plumbing and mechanical codes.

This elbow is suited for residential and light commercial applications where 1/4-inch copper tubing must change direction at a 90-degree angle. Installation Notes
