Wrot copper fittings are formed from wrought copper, giving them a finer grain structure and greater strength compared to cast fittings. The C x C end connections accept standard copper tubing on both ends for flame-soldered or torch-brazed joints. This fitting is installed by licensed plumbers and HVAC technicians in residential and light commercial water supply, refrigerant piping, and hydronic heating systems where a reduction in line size is required.
