The MTD PRODUCTS INC 13APA1BNA66 is a 46-inch cut lawn tractor built around a 22-horsepower Kohler twin-cylinder engine. The deck is a reinforced fabricated steel unit with twin blades, designed for consistent cut quality across residential lawns. Power is transferred through a foot-operated hydrostatic transmission, providing smooth, stepless speed changes without a clutch pedal. Electric blade engagement and a 16-inch turning radius make operation straightforward in tighter yards. A fully robotically welded frame provides structural rigidity over the long term. Licensed dealers, landscapers, and capable homeowners handle installation and setup of this unit.
This tractor is built for residential mowing applications where a larger cutting width and a durable fabricated deck are required. The 46-inch cut width covers ground efficiently on properties up to several acres. Twelve-position spring-assisted deck height adjustment and four anti-scalp deck wheels help maintain a level cut across uneven terrain. Cruise control and an adjustable high-back seat support extended mowing sessions. The integrated deck wash system simplifies routine maintenance. A cast iron front axle provides durability at the front end. Note: this model is not available for sale in California. Mulch kit and bagger are sold separately.
Designed as an OEM lawn tractor unit. Mulch kit and bagger accessories are available separately but are not included. Not available for sale in California.
Assembly and pre-delivery setup should be performed by qualified power equipment technicians or dealers familiar with small-engine equipment. Before performing any service or blade work, disengage the blades, shut off the engine, and remove the ignition key. Refer to the operator manual for deck leveling procedure and initial fluid checks. Local and state regulations may apply to operation and emissions compliance.
